All-Purpose Cleaner

Used for: most surfaces; floors, countertops, walls, and stainless steel

  • We use a separate product that includes a disinfectant to ensure surfaces are sanitized
  • It’s selected based on its low toxicity rating and effective germ-killing ability

Glass Cleaner

Used for: windows, mirrors, glass shower doors, and other glass surfaces

We use ECOLAB Ammonia-Free Pro Glass and Multi-Surface Cleaner because it gives a professional, streak-free shine without harsh fumes. This high performance formula works on a wide range of hard surfaces, removes light dust and heavier soil, and dries quickly. It is safe for indoor use.

ECOLAB is a trusted leader in commercial cleaning products and is widely used across professional facilities for its consistent performance and non-ammoniated safety profile. We apply it with high quality microfiber cloths to reduce overspray and ensure a clear, streak-free finish on every job.

Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner

Used for: targeted deep cleaning when a natural, plant-based solution is preferred

While not part of our daily lineup, we occasionally use Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds for clients who prefer a 100% plant-based cleaner or in situations where we want a mild but powerful degreaser that rinses clean.

Why We Use It:

Where We Might Use It:

  • Deep cleaning around sensitive areas (like baby nurseries or pet spaces)
  • Spot-cleaning when a client requests all-natural ingredients
  • Rinsing off outdoor items or lightly soiled surfaces when a gentler clean is preferred

 

Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds is not a disinfectant, but it’s incredibly effective at breaking up dirt, grease, and buildup using only coconut-derived ingredients and natural oils. We use it when appropriate, always diluted based on the task.

What We Don’t Use and Why

At Clean Casa, we intentionally avoid using harsh chemicals commonly found in household cleaning products, including bleach, vinegar, ammonia, chlorine-based sprays, and abrasive powders. While these products can be effective, they often come with trade-offs we’re not willing to make:

  • Ammonia can produce strong fumes, irritate lungs and eyes, and cause surface damage over time
  • Vinegar, while popular in DIY cleaning, is acidic and can etch natural stone, dull hardwood finishes, and corrode grout or metal fixtures
  • Abrasive powders and chlorine-based products can scratch surfaces and harm indoor air quality
  • These products also pose risks to children, pets, and people with respiratory sensitivities

 

Instead, we use modern, low-toxicity alternatives that have been tested for both safety and performance. Our goal is to leave your space clean, healthy, and undamaged, without filling the air with harsh chemical smells or exposing your family to unnecessary risks.
